Q: Help! I don’t know a thing about music except that I want it at my event!

A: Don’t worry about a thing! Live music really adds a special touch to any event, and we will work closely with you, giving you advice and guiding you through the selection process to help create and enhance the ambience for your event.

Q: Is the musicians set up time included in the contract time?

A: No, the musicians will begin playing at the start time listed on the contract, but will arrive on site at least 20 minutes prior to that to set up and go over any last minute details with the coordinator.

Q: Are you able to perform outdoors?

A: Of course, but there are certain restrictions. Our main concerns are the safety of the instruments and being able to perform well. We must be in full shade (especially during the summer), and we will not be able to play should there be ANY precipitation. We will always do our best to accommodate every situation, but the safety of our instruments is top priority for us.

Q: What will the musicians wear?

A: HCM is young and modern and our attire reflects this. We will work with you to make our attire accompany your wedding perfectly whether it be a casual beach wedding, or black tie affair.

Q: Can the ensemble attend my rehearsal?

A: While we are happy to attend your rehearsal if we are available, it is not necessary. We are very experienced with timing the music to your entrances and collect all the information we need before hand. There is an additional fee for attending rehearsals.

Q: What does the ensemble need at the venue?

A: We will need an armless chair for each musicians, and about two feet between each chair. We always arrive early to set up and ensure that we are comfortable and have enough space.

Q: When should I book an ensemble for my event?

A: We book up to a year in advance, and our calendar fills up quickly. We can accommodate more than one event per day, there is a limit. Contact us today for availability.
